A tire’s function is to reliably transmit the propelling and steering forces to the road and to absorb all impacts acting upon your vehicle driving on an uneven surface. Tires have a very significant impact on the safety, reliability and ride comfort of your vehicle.
Tire air pressure
Check tire air pressure regularly, at least once every 2 to 4 weeks. The pressure must be checked when the tires are cold. Even if the tires are heated only slightly, the pressure measurement will be inaccurate..
If you lose or damage the valve elements, replace immediately. Tighten all valves properly and check whether the function surfaces are not damaged.
Check air pressure in the spare tire regularly. A rule applies that the spare tire pressure must be about 0.5 atmosphere higher than the prescribed pressure. Adjust the pressure after the spare wheel has been fitted to an axle.

have the tires checked by a specialist at least 4-times a year, to see whether they are OK.
Don’t forget that even new tires will be worn out quickly unless any defects in the steering and chassis are not rectified by a specialist !
Tread height
Tires must be replaced at the latest when the worn our tread has reached the minimum height of 1.6 mm.
To ensure correct functioning, we recommend to replace summer tires already when the tread height is 2 mm, and winter tires when the tread height is 4 mm.
In wide tires the tread height must not be less than 3 mm.
Tire life
When a car or a trailer is to be unused for a protracted period of time, relieve weight on the tires and cover the tires
Replace tires of mobile homes and less frequently used tires after 5 to 7 years!
Use spare tires older than six years only in emergency situations!
